Start with the basics
Use the power adapter supplied with your model. Connect the box directly to a TV HDMI input and select that input with the TV remote. A soundbar, receiver or HDMI splitter can add another point of failure; leave those out during the initial setup.
Check the network and display
Connect to your home network using the options supported by your model. Confirm that the connection works before troubleshooting an individual app. If the display flashes or loses sound, try a different HDMI cable or TV input. A temporary 1080p setting can help isolate a 4K or HDMI compatibility issue; it is a diagnostic step, not a guarantee of a fix.
Make the interface comfortable for your family
Check the system language and learn Home, Back and directional navigation together. Try the apps your household actually needs. If buying for parents, let them try the navigation before deciding the device is suitable. App layout, availability and content can change; contact support about a specific requirement instead of assuming every service works.
When asking for help
- Give the model and order number privately to support.
- Name the app or screen where the issue occurs.
- Copy the exact error or provide a clear photo without passwords or personal details.
- Explain whether other apps work and which steps you have tried.
A slow app, network problem and hardware fault need different troubleshooting. Do not install firmware intended for a different model or factory-reset the device as the first response to every problem.
